lab.
However, grants have been submitted to obtain funding for the research associate
and postdoctoral position described below.
POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
Job Description: Work in a cognitive neuroscience lab integrating
electroencephalography (EEG) and functional MRI (fMRI) to study the interface of
attention and memory in healthy young and older adults.
Job Responsibilities: Assume an integrated role in all aspects of the data
collection, analysis and publication. Data analysis is performed independently,
and includes the use of established programs (e.g, SPM and Analyzer), as well as
the development of new approaches, mostly using Matlab.
Required Qualifications: PhD in psychology, neuroscience, bioengineering or
related science; previous research experience in this field (particularly
conducting fMRI and/or EEG experiments); working knowledge of MS Windows and Mac
OS; computer programming skills, specifically the ability to design and write
scripts in Matlab; a strong publication record; good organizational skills and
attention to detail; ability to work independently as well as with others;
ability to handle fluctuating priorities and deadlines; interest in learning
brain structure- function relationships.
